About us
The company Wolco Sp. Z o.o. continues the activity of the company Strongweld that since 1984th with approximately 600 employees in five industrial plants produced welding electrodes, wires and nets for the building industry, as well as for the hops and tobacco industry. In 1992 the company Strongweld was transferred to Wolco Sp. z o.o. and started the introduction of new technologies and the production of fine highly processed special wires.
Currently we are the only manufacturer of steel wires for collected nails ( Ø 0,60 mm; Ø 0,63 mm; Ø 0,68 mm; Ø 0,70 mm; Ø 0,71 mm; Ø 0,75 mm; Ø 0,80 mm) and wires for metal electrical discharge machining (EDM) ( Ø 0,20 mm; Ø 0,25 mm) in Poland. As well we produce steel wires plated with other metals (Cu, Ni, Zn, Sn, Ag) with diameters ranging from Ø 0,30 mm - Ø 1,20 mm. Furthermore, we offer brass and copper wires with diameters ranging from Ø 0,15 mm - Ø 1,38 mm.
Our customers include big corporations, as well as small and medium-size companies.
Wolco Sp. Z o.o. out of concern for the environment and to fulfill the customer's expectations as well as the constant improvement of the management systems is committed to PN-EN ISO 9001:2008 and PN-EN ISO 14001:2004. That means:

- prevention of contamination, and if this is impossible, minimization of the negative impact on the environment,

We employ specialists in manufacturing and testing of steel and non-ferrous metal wires. We have our own testing equipment. For innovative solutions, we have been awarded both nationally and internationally. In 2012, we received an award in the competition for the Business Award of the Mayor of Lublin in the category innovation.
